2015 Tour de France bikes for MTN Qhubeka p/b Samsung riders

Tomorrow (Saturday, 4 July), Team MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung line up to make history as the first African registered professional cycling team to participate in the Tour de France.

Nine riders will represent the African continent on cycling’s most global stage, with the objective of driving Qhubeka's  #BicyclesChangeLives campaign so that a further 5000 schoolchildren can be mobilised in Africa with bicycles.

Team MTN Qhubeka p/b Samsung believes that bicycles change lives. That’s why they are working to give talented AfricQhuban riders a path to the pro peloton while mobilising students with bicycles through Qhubeka, World Bicycle Relief’s programme in South Africa. We invite you to change lives with us today.

Help us reach the finish-line for African schoolchildren. Here's how:

1. Get the T-shirt
There is no better way to show your support for the team than to wear your heart on your sleeve. Buy #BicyclesChangeLives merchandise and not only tell the world which team you are supporting in the Tour de France, but feel good knowing that proceeds from the sales go towards helping us provide schoolchildren with bicycles. Buy yours now!

2. Meet the team
Are you going to be at the Tour de France? If so, be one of the first 40,000 to donate to Qhubeka at one of the Team MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung vehicles and you could receive a FREE black and yellow Qhubeka beaded bracelet. And if you’re lucky, one of the Team MTN-Qhubeka riders might even be around to say hi!

3. Have a party
Are you having friends over to watch the Tour de France? Why not sign up to be a Qhubeka activist for our #BicyclesChangeLives campaign and use our fundraising tools to tell your friends about the difference a bicycle can make in a schoolchild’s life? Sign me up as a Qhubeka activist!

4. Go shopping
South African fans, did you know that you could help us provide children with bicycles to get to school every time you shop at Woolworths or fill up at Engen? Just sign up for a MySchool card (or add us as a beneficiary on your existing MySchool or Woolworths card - you can have up to three beneficiaries) and we’ll get a donation every time you shop, at no cost to you. Get a MySchool Card or add Qhubeka as a beneficiary to an existing card.

5. Donate a bicycle
Help the team reach their goal of providing 5,000 children in Africa with bicycles by donating to their #BicyclesChangeLives campaign. Donate now!
