Get down to the Fair

Make sure you get down to the Standard Bank Africa Cycle Fair this weekend (Friday 23 – Sunday 25 October) and catch all the action.

There is a whole stack of things happening this year, including the “Best Bike in Africa” competition where you can win a bike by predicting which bike scoops this title.

There is also a kids’ ride zone, a pump track and all sorts of stalls and exhibits to visit.

And there will also be plenty of stalls and cycling-related products for Africa!

Look out for Modern Cyclist’s stand where you’ll be able to sign on for a free digi mag subscription, get a copy of your favourite cycling magazine or purchase a set (or more) of our revolutionary Bibfix products which are clips that fix your number to your race shirt during competitions.

The event will also see the un-official African Cyclocross Championships (which will take place on Sunday) and the Junior Inter-Provincial Cross Country Race (which will take place on Friday and Saturday).

The opening times for the fair are 11:00 to 18:00 (Friday), 09:00 to 17:00 (Saturday) and 09:00 to 16:00 (Sunday).

This year, the Standard Bank Africa Cycle Fair takes place at St Stithians College in Randburg. Entrance is through the school’s top entry gate on Bram Fischer Road.
