Midweek ride with Cherise Stander

Not many cyclists get to share a moment with their idols of the sport.

But this is exactly what happened this morning (Wednesday 27 May) when a small but enthusiastic group of amateur cyclists enjoyed a fun ride with Team RECM’s ace road and mountain bike rider Cherise Stander.

Because of her commitment to cycling as a whole and women’s cycling in particular, Cherise joined the ride, which was hosted and organised by and

Riding from Complete Cyclist’s Bedfordview branch, the small group of cyclists made their way up to Linksfield Ridge, with its own switchback climb.

Riders were accompanied by one of the Complete Cyclist Land Rover Discovery cycling support vehicles, to make sure everyone was safe during the ride.

After the obligatory photo session, the group then descended the way they had ridden and returned to Complete Cyclist’s Bedfordview branch for coffee and muffins.

A great way to enjoy cycling.
