You are fire, I am water: how to determine body type according to Ayurveda and improve life
Ayurveda is the Indian ideology of life, according to which health is considered the main value. In Ayurveda, there are three types of doshas – the energy of the body: vata, pitta and kapha. In every person there is energy of all types, but, as a rule, one of them prevails. It is he who determines the condition of the skin, body complexion and general physical condition.
Knowing how the doshas are arranged and which of them prevails in you, you can more harmoniously build your nutrition system, work out your problem areas and prevent diseases to which you are prone. Vata – air and ether
Appearance: thinness, refined figure outlines, lack of muscle and fat mass. The hair is dark, the features are thin and smoothed.
Character: sensuality, honesty, changeable mood, increased anxiety. People who are dominated by vata energy are creative and dreamy, but easily vulnerable.
Diet: Vata representatives should consider their diet carefully, as digestive disorders can seriously affect spiritual well-being. Ayurveda recommends focusing on light food and avoiding exhausting diets and extreme nutritional systems.
Health: People with a predominant vata energy usually complain of dry skin and dental problems.
If you find signs of a predominant air energy in yourself, then pay attention to yoga, stretching, fitness directions mind body (English body & mind) or body ballet. Powerlifting and long-distance running, on the other hand, can create an imbalance and make you feel worse.
Pitta – fire and water
Appearance: well-developed muscular corset, athletic build, sharp facial features, blonde or red hair, freckles.
Character: ambitious, energetic, overly active, radical views and a good sense of humor. People with fiery energy are often considered the soul of the company.
Diet: Pitta energy representatives have been observed to prefer spicy and salty foods. However, despite this, Ayurveda does not recommend focusing on specific gastronomic combinations. Pay attention to simple seasonal fruits and vegetables, enjoy fresh berries, fresh juices in summer. You need water to balance, but fire and sharpness are enough.

Health: Since Pitta representatives are not busy with activity, you will probably need to periodically release energy, for example, through sports. However, do not overdo it – it is important to avoid aggression during class. Try meditation, yoga, and water activities to calm and improve your well-being.
Kapha – water and earth
Appearance: large facial features, strong body, thick hair, tendency to be overweight.
Character: Kapha representatives have a calm character, natural slowness. And also, as a rule, such people often have problems with motivation – they often suffer from laziness. However, the reason for this is the desire for harmony and inner peace.
Diet: You should pay attention to warm meals with a minimum fat content. Sweets, flour, fast food – all this will negatively affect the figure and provoke a rapid weight gain.
Health: Since people with kapha energy tend to be overweight, calmer workouts should be preferred over running and aerobics. It is recommended to move more and work with a strength training program.
